Graduate Credit Options

Northwest Nazarene University Logo

The Ohio Learning Community now offers the opportunity to earn graduate credit through a new partnership with Northwest Nazarene University (NNU) — at a significantly reduced rate of $129 per credit hour.

Graduate credit is available for select courses on the platform. When you begin a course, you'll be asked to choose whether you'd like to pursue:

  • Graduate Credit
    or

  • Continuing Education Units (CEUs)

Please note: You must make this selection at the start of the course. Your choice will determine how your final completion is processed and whether a certificate is issued through the Ohio Learning Community or a transcript is available through NNU.

How It Works

  1. Choose Graduate Credit at the Start of Your Course
When prompted, select the graduate credit option. You’ll be provided with next steps in the course content.

  2. Register with NNU
You’ll use a registration link specific to each course to enroll with NNU and pay the applicable fee directly to the university.

  3. Complete All Coursework
Graduate credit requires that you complete all assigned activities, reflections, and/or work products associated with the course.

  4. Receive a Grade
Once your coursework is reviewed, your instructor will submit a grade to NNU.

  5. Request a Transcript
After your grade is submitted, you can request an official transcript from NNU. (A small transcript request fee may apply.)

Important Notes

  • Only courses designated as graduate credit-eligible will offer this option. Course eligibility will be clearly indicated in the course overview.

  • Coursework must be completed in full and on time to receive credit.

  • You will not receive a CEU certificate from the Ohio Learning Community if you choose graduate credit; your credit will be documented on your NNU transcript.
