Welcome to the Ohio Learning Community! We're delighted to have you as a part of our online courses, and our aim is to ensure your experience is seamless. To kickstart your journey, we will assist you through the registration process and guide you in selecting your desired courses. Currently, you have two paths to explore:

Option 1: Guest Checkout

Guest Checkout (Free Courses)

Similar to an online store, you can browse for courses and add them to your cart. To complete the registration and enrollment, you will need to proceed to checkout. Simply click on the shopping cart icon, and you will be prompted to create an account. Rest assured, all our courses in the main catalog are free of charge!

Guest Checkout (Paid Courses)

Some of our tenants have offerings which are paid courses, these are clearly indicated in the catalog. Payment can be made through PayPal, and upon successful payment, you will be automatically enrolled.

In both scenarios, guests will be required to create an account before finalizing the checkout process.

Creating a new account can be done in two ways:

  • Option 1: Use an Existing Google or Microsoft Account (Single Sign-On)
  • Option 2: Create a New Account Manually

The account creation process is outlined below in the next section.

Option 2: Member Enrollment in Courses

You can create your account first, then you can enroll in courses. Here's how:

If you need an account you have two choices:

Use an Existing Google or Microsoft Account (Single Sign-On)

  1. Click on the Google or Microsoft button.
  2. Choose the account you wish to use (typically your school email) on the next screen.
  3. Confirm your account by accessing your email and clicking on a link sent by the Ohio Learning Community.
  4. You will then be directed to your dashboard, indicating a successful login.

Create a New Account Manually

  1. Click the "Create New Account" link on the login page.
  2. Complete the new account form to register.
  3. Ensure you fill out all required fields (we recommend using your email address as the username).
  4. Click the "Create my new account" button.
  5. Confirm your account by accessing your email and clicking on a link sent to you.
  6. You will then be directed to your dashboard, indicating a successful login.

Already a Member?

If you already possess an account, follow these steps to log in:

  • SSO users can click on the appropriate buttons to log in.
  • Manual account holders should enter their OLC username (your email) and password on the login page.
  • Upon successful login, you will be taken to your dashboard, confirming your access.
  1. From your dashboard, click on the "Catalog" tab to explore available courses.
  2. Search for courses of interest or use filters to refine your choices.
  3. Click the "Details" button to access more information about a specific course.
  4. If the course aligns with your requirements, click the "Enroll" button to register for it.
  5. Follow any additional prompts or steps to complete the registration process.

Accessing Courses

The final step is to access your selected course:

  1. From your dashboard, locate the course in the list and click "Go to Course."
  2. Congratulations! You are now ready to fully utilize the Ohio Learning Community and access the courses you've enrolled in.
